Type I Roll Labels - DISCONTINUED

I regret to announce that we have discontinued type I roll labels. These are the same labels previously advertised in the newspaper for $3.65 for a roll of 250 labels. These labels were the only product that we outsourced to a 3rd party.

There are several reason we discontinued.

1. Customer satisfaction issues. This product was responsible for the majority of complaints we received. We have seen extensive problems with print quality and quality control.
   
   
2. Slow delivery of product. Because the post office radically changed the rates for packages, (145% increase on parcels!) IPC modified their manufacturing process in order to save postage. Currently, orders are grouped by stock type (white, clear, etc), by quantity and by dispenser selection. One day they produce white labels in rolls of 250 labels, the next they produce white labels in rolls of 500. Essentially, depending on the label selection, it will take 3 weeks to process an order. This has significantly affected production and turnaround times.
   
   
3. Complaints over non-delivery of product. In order to save postage, IPC sends everything via 3rd class, standard mail. The post office does not forward standard mail if you relocate. In fact, the post office does NOT guarantee delivery of standard mail! If the post office carrier has ANY issues with delivery, they simply discard the package! Combine the manufacturing delay with the post offices policy regarding standard mail, it is not surprising that we get enormous numbers of complaints regarding slow or non-delivery.

For these reasons, I have chosen to discontinue this product. Originally, this product was offered as a convenience for customers who had seen and enjoyed the labels featured in newspaper advertising. Ordering through Superior Labels let us serve customers by offering a full product line at a variety of prices. Additionally, it was faster for our customers because our orders were loaded directly into IPC's production system. (When IPC receives mail-in orders from the newspaper ads they usually take an extra week for data entry.) It was a difficult and painful decision for me to drop this product because I am friends with the President of IPC.

What are your options?

First of all I would highly recommend our type H roll labels. As shown below in our comparison section, they are a MUCH better product. The stock is glossy, the print quality is top notch, you have a large selection of font types, plus you have control over the size of the text on a line-by-line basis. In addition, our turn-around is generally next business day. (Order today and we print and ship tomorrow). As we ship these labels via first-class mail, most customers receive their labels within a week.

OR you can order 4 pages of our white 60 labels per page, 240 labels for $4, versus $5.15 for 250 IPC labels. The cost is less, the product quality is much better and the sheet address labels ship the next business day!

Please note that “Type I” cannot be sent via priority mail , overnight or outside the US. We will change your order and reduce your shipping charge if you picked an invalid shipping type with “Type I.” If you choose international shipping with “Type I” your order will be rejected. We cannot ship these outside the US.
