Custom Graphic Upload Guide
| Here are a few tips to ensure the best results when ordering a set of address labels with a custom graphic. |
Take scaling into account |
| All uploaded graphics are printed the way they're submitted, and because our printing software is "smart" enough to scale any graphic to the size needed to fit on an address label, we don't put any height/width restrictions on the images our customers upload. However, it's important to keep in mind the limitations of an automated printing system as demonstrated in the following example. | |
GOOD IMAGE
![]()
This is a good address label graphic. The subject of the photograph is centered and there is no excess background scenery or whitespace. When scaled down, the dog is clearly visible and no space was wasted on unnecessary background scenery.
POOR IMAGE
![]()
Due to the large amount of background area in the image above, when scaled down to fit on an address label, the dog in the photograph is almost indistinguishable. This can be prevented by cropping away all unnecessary background scenery or whitespace from the graphic before it's uploaded. For tips on how to accomplish this, see our image cropping guide.

Portraits work well. Group and full body shots are often too large and scale with poor results. Keep in mind that dark photographs will also lose more detail when scaled down. Trust the label preview as it is a good indication of what the final result will be.
